What is ODAAT?

ODAAT stands for One Day At A Time. It is a drug and alcohol recovery programme that is structured as a three-stage quasi-residential programme with professional therapeutic input. Today, as one of the longest running services of its kind, ODAAT in the UK operates a three-stage programme which comprises one to one and group counselling, 12-step therapy groups, relapse prevention, anger management and life skills groups as well as social and sporting activities.

Admission Criteria:

  • ODAAT is for men only
  • 18 - 60 years old
  • Must be motivated to change / recover
  • Mental Health: We can only accept low support needs - Any medication must be declared before admission and cleared by the Therapy Manager
  • Must be willing to commit to the 6 month programme
  • We are happy to accept self or agency referrals
  • Referrals are accepted from Probation and/or courts e.g. DRRs, - There is no automatic refusal for particular offences; each case will be assessed on its own merit.
  • Referrals are welcome from all boroughs or counties but priority is given to Lambeth residents
